Hi! I am Lacy Gaines. I am 19 years old and a sophomore here at A&M Commerce. My major is math/secondary education. I graduated from S&S CISD, a small school west of Sherman. My mom and dad live in Sherman, and they have been married for 28 years; I have a sister, who is 25, and she is a p.e. teacher in Dallas. I love sports and hanging out with friends!

Week 2

I think using blogs can be very beneficial; they can allow us to express ourselves. Blogs can be useful in education because teachers and students can post their opinions and thoughts on certain educational aspects such as lesson plans and curriculum, and you can learn new insights from others. I do not believe blogs would be a waste of students' time. As a teacher, you could get feedback from the students about maybe what they like and do not like about how you teach. Students could also mention what kind of learner he or she is and how they learn best. Blogging is also a good way to communicate between the teacher and the students.
